Definition

Globalization: the fast movement of people, commodities, and ideas in an ever-shrinking world.

International institutions: sometimes referred to as international governmental organizations (IGOs), typically constructed as an international alliance between state actors on the global stage.

International organizations: typically constructed as either international nongovernmental organizations (INGOs) or nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) that operate internationally.
