Bogdan Zawadzki is a psychologist and a researcher in the field of personality. His work is focused on (1) temperament, (2) assessment, (3) behavior genetics, and (4) psychopathology – post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Warsaw (UW), Poland. Bogdan Zawadzki was born on February 22, 1957, in Warsaw, and his life and academic career are inseparably related to Warsaw (the university and the city). He earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in psychology under the supervision of Professor Jan Strelau. He was awarded full professorship in 2007 by the University of Warsaw. He was a head of the Interdisciplinary Center for Behavior-Genetic Research (2008–2015) and Laboratory of Temperament (from 2005 to the present) at the University of Warsaw.
