Early Life and Educational Background
Thibodeau was born on March 18, 1979 in Caribou, Maine. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine in 2001 and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Syracuse University in 2008. Thibodeau completed his predoctoral internship in clinical psychology at the Center for Behavioral Medicine (formerly Western Missouri Mental Health Center) in Kansas City, Missouri, in 2007.
Professional Career
Thibodeau has worked in the Psychology Department at St. John Fisher College since 2008. He is actively engaged in teaching at the undergraduate level. Notable courses include Society and Mental Illness, which synthesizes psychological, biological, and sociocultural perspectives on mental illness; Advanced Personality, a senior capstone seminar; and Psychophysiology Laboratory, in which students conceive and execute original research using psychophysiological tools.
