Amosov, Fedot (?–?) – a pomor. Searching for islands in the East Siberian Sea in 1723, he traveled for more that 200 km along the mainland coast to the east of the Kolyma River mouth. In 1724 he set off on a dog sledge from Nizhnekolymsk northward and reached one of the Medvezhyi Islands, more likely, Krestovsky Island, which he circled and saw two more islands behind it.
