Abstract
Provides an overview of the life, work, and impact of John Calvin, the sixteenth-century Protestant reformer. Calvin spent his early life in France, but his career as a reformer focused on the city of Geneva. Calvin’s most influential work was the Institutes, and under his leadership Geneva became the center of an international Protestant movement.
