Although interactive systems already exist in the animation industry, nowadays there is not a system that combines an animated story and a virtual reality system complemented by the spectator’s interaction, in order to tell that story properly.
Introduction
Over the years, animation has had a great impact on society. It has been used to entertain, but also to inspire, inform, and educate. In the last century, animation has been transformed in terms of finding new ways to achieve it. The use of new technologies has provided entirely new forms to appreciate this art form, such as computer animation, digital art, and virtual reality, among others.
Thus, the main objective of this project is to create an animated story that will use a CAVE, a holographic projection, and a tracking system as necessary tools to tell the story and not only as a way to project it. With the use of this technology, we are seeking to generate a similar...
