Prior to the developments of The Foundry’s Nuke CARA VR interface and plugins as well as Adobe’s increased developments and integration with third-party tools today for live-action virtual reality postproduction, stereoscopic virtual reality was considered a difficult undertaking for independent virtual reality filmmakers and artists alike to achieve due to costs, lagging postproduction tools, or the issues that came with stereoscopic virtual reality filmmaking with stereoscopic camera equipment.
