Introduction

The COVID-19 pandemic period accelerated digital transformation and forced a shift toward information technologies, programs, and applications that offer fully digital services (Chadli et al., 2021). This has been a challenge for most people, especially those with disabilities. It has shown the importance of ensuring that as many people as possible, regardless of their functional limitations, have equal access to various types of digital systems and services, including websites, mobile applications, software solutions, electronic platforms, and e-documents (Inal et al., 2020).
