Abstract
Lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) can result from congenital narrowing of the spinal canal or, more frequently, from secondary causes, including chronic degeneration, rheumatoid arthritis, osteomyelitis, trauma, or malignancy. The characteristic symptom of lumbar spinal stenosis is neurogenic claudication, and the low back pain in these patients frequently displays a pseudoradicular pattern. This chapter illustrates the imaging features of lumbar spinal stenosis on bone SPECT/CT.
