Abstract

Skull lesions may be detected incidentally by imaging or as a manifestation of a known disease. Lesions in this particular anatomic region may have significant uptake on bone scan and SPECT/CT and benign lesions may mimic malignancy on anatomic imaging. This chapter focuses on skull vault lesions and describes the findings and differential diagnosis on bone SPECT/CT.
