Abstract
Fibrous dysplasia is a benign disorder in which immature osteoblasts and fibrous stroma replace normal marrow. It is often identified by coincidence on imaging studies performed for other reasons. Complications consist of pathological fractures and the compression of adjacent soft tissue structures. Here, a case of a fibrous dysplasia lesion in the hip is illustrated with description of the findings on bone SPECT/CT.
