Malignant Bone Tumors: Ewing Sarcoma

Abstract

Ewing sarcoma is the second most common childhood malignant primary bone tumor presenting with pain or pathological fractures with raised inflammatory markers. Triple phase bone scan show increased uptake with SPECT/CT helps in diagnosis. Whole body bone scan is also helpful in localizing metastasis to bone and lung nodules with calcifications.
