Abstract
Osteoid osteomas are benign bone-forming tumors that usually affect young people in their teens. They have a characteristic lucent nidus with surrounding osteoblastic reaction. Osteoid osteomas commonly affect the long bones of the limbs; however, any bone can be affected. In this chapter, we describe the role of imaging, particularly SPECT/CT, in diagnosis of osteoid osteoma of the elbow.
