Abstract
Clavicular fractures are common sporting injuries that are clinically obvious and generally diagnosed by plain film radiography. The majority of these fractures involve the midshaft and are quite common in children and young adults. A rare form of fracture involves the medial end of the clavicle often with fracture-dislocation of the sternoclavicular joint. There is a role for scintigraphic imaging of this particular injury.
