Abstract
Pars fractures are a common cause of lower back pain, especially in children and adolescents. Early diagnosis is critical in preventing progression to spondylolisthesis. While scintigraphy is useful for detection of subtle lesions prior to the development of fractures, CT remains the most accurate modality for detection of fractures.
