Clinical Atlas of Bone SPECT/CT

Abstract

Scheuermann’s disease is a self-limiting disorder resulting in wedge-shaped vertebral bodies causing thoracic kyphosis. An atypical form affects the distal dorsolumbar or lumbar spine and can present with less typical imaging findings. The role of bone SPECT/CT is to rule out other causes of pain in symptomatic individuals.
