Abstract
Spondylodiscitis is a severe infection of the intervertebral disc that can present with nonspecific signs and symptoms, necessitating the use of imaging to establish the diagnosis. While bone SPECT/CT is not the preferred imaging method for diagnosis, the findings on bone SPECT/CT described in this chapter should raise suspicion for spondylodiscitis in patients referred for nonspecific back pain.
