Abstract
The Bertolotti syndrome is characterized by pain caused by the presence of a particular lumbosacral transitional vertebra (LSTV) consisting of the enlargement of the transverse process of L5 with pseudoarthrosis with the sacrum. This chapter describes the imaging characteristics of Bertolotti syndrome on bone SPECT/CT.
