Abstract
Violence against doctors has become part of their profession worldwide. India is no exception; Indian healthcare system faces many challenges and WPV is one among them. It is stuck in multi-level causal nexus of WPV, leading to substandard performance by healthcare workers. COVID pandemic was no exclusion for WPV. Communication and conflict management skills should be injected into Indian doctors for avoiding WPV. Joint efforts by the doctors, media, society, and governance may albeit find a solution for this epidemic.
