Abstract

This chapter explores the discourse of guns, the archaic legal tools demanded by the constitutional originalists, Supreme Court (SCOTUS) decisions, the history of gun violence on college campuses in the United States, research on the impact of campus carry on students, faculty, staff, and administrators, and legal perspectives on campus carry. The conclusion outlines possible futures for campus carry based on legal, political, and policy climates.
