Safety is an important concern in the workplace because of its significant impact on organizations’ short-term and long-term goals and societal stability and sustainability. (Christian et al., 2009). This case study introduces the DuPont safety training observation program (STOP), one of the pioneers in the behavior-safety approach, which improves safety using the power of daily open communication.
