Definition

Responsible consumption is both an ideology and a form of social movement that promotes the idea of a rational, economic, self-aware consumer who can adjust and limit its expectations and needs to serve common good through consumer behavior. It focuses not only on consumer rights but also on consumer obligations and has three dimensions: rational consumption, ethical consumption, and consumer activism.

Both historical and modern perspective consumptions play a vital role in supporting human existence. That is why its form is so crucial for human and social group development.
