- Bridge:

An edge that provides the only path between its end points
- Community:

A set of highly and mutually connected nodes in a network
- Conductance:

Given a set of nodes in a network, the number of cut edges between the set and the remainder of the network divided by the number of internal edges inside the set
- Local Bridge:

An edge whose end points have no common neighbors. Its degree is the length of the shortest path between the end points when that edge is eliminated
- Modularity:

Given a partition of a network, the fraction of the edges that connect nodes in the same community minus the expected value of the same quantity with the randomly rewired network
- Vertex/Edge Betweenness Centrality:

Given a vertex/an edge, the number of all shortest paths between pairs of vertices that go through it
