The Semantic Social Web refers to a global data space of semantically enriched and user-generated data. Interconnections between people comprise the Semantic Social Web as well as documents, activities, tags, and geo-markers. The Semantic Social Web combines technologies and methodologies from the Semantic Web and applies them in an effort to enhance the Social Web (also known as the Web 2.0).
