Definition
Impact crater ejecta morphology displaying three or more partial or complete continuous deposits.
Description
The multiple layer ejecta (MLE) morphology is a type of layered ejecta which displays three or more partial or complete continuous ejecta deposits surrounding the crater (Fig. 1). Deposits often are superimposed on each other and display a sinuous edge, terminating in a distal ridge (rampart).
