Definition

Processes resulting in features that show up on in the presence of the seasonal layer of frost and then disappear when the terrain becomes ice-free (Hansen et al. 2012).

Subtypes

On dunes:  Dark dune features. In non-dune terrains:  Araneiform (radially organized channels)  Seasonal polar fan-shaped deposits (Mars).
