Round-shaped elevations consisting of volcanic material (Fink and Anderson 2000).

Description

In volcanology, “geomorphological result of congelation of accumulated silicic melt of high viscosity” (Ágústsdóttir et al. 2010).

Morphometry

Lunar  mare domestypically display diameters in between about 5 and 25 km, average flank slopes (measured from the dome center to its rim) in between some tenths of a degree and (in rare cases) more than 3°, low heights of some tens of meters to at most a few hundred meters, and...
