A stochastic process in which distribution properties between the two index parameter points t1 and t2, t1t2, depend only on the difference t2t1, and not on the specific values of t1 and t2. In the many applications where the parameter set is time, whether discrete or continuous, it is called a time-homogeneous stochastic process.
