Abstract
Boethius of Dacia was a Master of the Arts Faculty of Paris in the 1260s and 1270s of the thirteenth century. He was one of the main targets of the 1277 condemnation. His main contribution lies in the definition of both the limits and the autonomy of philosophical inquiry and in his high appraisal of the figure of the philosopher.
