Description

Orthodox theology is an existential expression of the spiritual life of the Eastern Orthodox Church. It is an expression of the experience of the Church in its permanent effort to maintain the dogmatic continuity of the Christian faith from the apostolic times, through the present, up to the future and the end of times. This is the experience of the life of the Church as an experience of Heaven on Earth in accordance with the ultimate Divine purpose of the universe. Orthodox theology is taken to be an experience of Divine-human communion within the liturgical assembly of the community of all believers and the spiritual life of each of its individual members.
