Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship

Subjects: Children’s media.

Purpose: To support and encourage an aspiring upper division or graduate student to pursue a career in children’s media that furthers the values and principles of Fred Rogers work.

Eligibility: The Mister Rogers Memorial Scholarship is open ONLY to graduating seniors (must be continuing directly to graduate school) and graduate students (Masters or Ph.D.) of accredited colleges or universities. Application Procedure: Candidates must complete an extensive form that includes background information about themselves and plan for the use of the scholarship money. The application must also include recommendations from two people, either faculty members or professionals from the children’s media industry who have worked with the applicant.
