Description
The Expressive One-Word Picture Vocabulary Test (EOWPVT) is an individually administered instrument designed to evaluate a person’s knowledge of English-speaking vocabulary. The test is norm-referenced and designed to be used with individuals between the ages of 2 years, 0 months to 18 years, 11 months. During administration, the examiner shows the examinee a series of pictures depicting actions, objects, and concepts. The examinee is asked to name the illustration presented and then the answer is recorded in the EOWPVT protocol. The test kit consists of 170 test plates in a spiral-bound easel. According to the manual, administration and scoring time takes between 15 to 20 min, depending on the individual. Raw scores are obtained which are then translated to standard scores, percentiles, and age equivalents.
