An invertible linear transform which transforms an image into a force field by pretending that pixels have a mutual attraction proportional to their intensities and inversely to the square of the distance between them rather like Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation. Each pixel is assumed to generate a spherically symmetrical force field so that the total force \( {\bf{F}}({\bf{r}}_j ) \)
