The ratio of (a) either (i) the sum of the individual maximum actual effective power, i.e., real power, demands of the various parts of a power distribution system, (ii) the sum of the individual maximum possible demands of the various parts of a power distribution system, or (iii) the sum of the individual component rated power of the various electrical components connected to a power distribution system to (b) the maximum operational demand of the whole system.
