DOI: https://doi.org/10.1007/1-4020-0611-X_935

The study of how an optimal solution or, in general, the output of a mathematical model changes with (usually) small changes in the given data. In linear programming, a sensitivity study is a basic part of the problem solution. It shows how much a cost coefficient or a right-hand side element can vary, holding all other data constant, before the optimal feasible basis is either no longer optimal or feasible.
