These are forests and woodlands with tourism value. Forests can regulate the weather, purify the air, absorb dust, and have special medicinal functions with forest baths. They also have aesthetic value; thus, many countries around the world have used forest tourism landscapes in the construction of numerous forest parks. In China, many plantation forests and woodland plantation areas have been developed into national forest parks and provincial forest parks. In addition, several virgin forests have become destinations for eco-tourism and scientific expeditions.
