Flora includes all of the plants that have existed in a particular region, an environment, or an era. In palaeontology. It is often categorised or named according to the plant types, distribution or geologic periods, and its boundaries are indefinite. Examples are the Glossopteris flora, the Cathaysia flora and the Permian flora.
