This geopark is located in Fengyang County, Anhui Province, and became a national geopark in 2009. The main geological features include grid-like groove dissolution cave landscapes, cave groups, insect fossils, the Fengyang Mountain springs and the Woniu Lake volcanic wetlands. The outcrops of the grid-like groove dissolution karst landscape cover an area of approximately 1 km2, and the grooves are 5–10 m deep. It is a new type of karst topography, and more than 10 caves have been found. The longest is more than 1,400 m long and has concave grooves on the walls that were formed by water erosion, and fossilised worm trails are present on the surfaces of the red silty shales. As many as 10 springs have been found in the Fengyang Mountain area; the Willow Spring has the highest flow rate of 25–30 l/s.
