The environmental management department sets the objectives of environmental quality and environmental conditions within a certain period of time. The fundamental role of environmental objectives is to develop clear directions and goals for development and to facilitate effective environmental management. The formulation of environmental goals must be compatible with the stage of socio-economic development. Environmental goals are the basis and starting point for formulating environmental strategies and environmental plans. Therefore, they can also be divided into strategic, policy and planning goals.
