Studying the conditions, controlling factors, spatial and temporal evolutions, classification and formation of nature-based tourism resources in a region allows the characteristics of their spatial distribution to be determined, enabling forecasting, evaluation and formulation of strategic development plans for nature-based tourism. Moreover, the research results are an important information for popularising earth science, developing nature-based tourism and serving as a basis for further scientific research in that region.
