This park is located in Danba County, Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garzê, western Sichuan Province. It contains complete types of mining relics and became a national mining park in 2005. Based on their functions, the park can be divided into several parts: a muscovite mining culture exhibition area, mining environment display area, folk customs and service area and ecological sightseeing area. The park contains the remains of slag, mine shafts, workshops and roads in the mining area. There are more than 100 mine shafts, ore handling cableways, winches and mine car lamps that systematically illustrate the main processes of gathering and transporting muscovite and processing it into mica paper, mica plates and mica pearl powder.
