Zhenyang Wu (Young Ng)
Zhenyang Wu (1957–) was born in Myanmar and is a native of Jinjiang City, Fujian Province. He graduated from the Department of Geography and Geology of the University of Hong Kong and obtained his master’s degree from Imperial College, London University and a PhD from the School of Geosciences, Sydney University. He is the founder and ex-chairman of the Association for Geoconservation, Hong Kong. He is a pioneer in geoconservation in the Asia Pacific region and has played important roles in the establishment of the Hong Kong Geopark of China and the dissemination of tourism earth science in China, Hong Kong and Australia.
