Volcanic facies is a general term for the collective products of volcanic activity in a certain environment. Different environmental conditions result in different volcanic facies. The environment refers to the conditions of the volcanic eruption region on land or in the sea, the area of accumulation, the position on the ground surface or near the surface, and the specific locations of the volcanic structure, such as the near-source crater or the volcanic slope away from the crater (See  Magmatic Rocks).
