This book was written by Anze Chen et al. and was published by Science Press in 2011. The monograph discusses the definition, types, formation, scientific value, aesthetic value, science popularisation value and tourism development value of the karst stone forest landscapes in China. It also conducts systematic in-depth research on the distribution, formation, types, geological characteristics, evolution conditions, protection and development of the karst stone forest landscapes in 11 provinces (regions) of China, including Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, Hubei, Guangxi, Fujian, Hainan, Hebei, and Henan. As of 2011, it was the most complete monograph of karst stone forest landscape research in China.
