Shopping tourism is a type of tourism that focuses on purchasing goods in locations away from people’s hometowns. In contrast to general tourists, shopping tourists usually have specific goods or shops in mind and pay close attention to the quality of the goods. Shopping is the main goal and activity, while sightseeing and touring are subsidiary activities.
