Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda

This park is located in the southwestern corner of Uganda near the borders with Rwanda and Democratic Republic of the Congo. The core protection area covers 321 km2. It is situated at the intersection of plains and mountain forests and is famous for its rich biodiversity with more than 160 species of trees and 100 species of ferns. It also has many types of birds, butterflies and animals, including endangered animals, such as mountain gorillas.
