Loess Flat Landscape

This is a loess landscape consisting of small pieces of a residual loess terrace or a wide and flat loess gully bed. Loess flats are usually high-quality farmland. Wangjiaping in Yan’an, Shaanxi Province, where the Central Military Commission was located during the anti-Japanese war period, is a typical example of this landform (Fig. 33).
