Lava Spine Landscape

This is a thorn-shaped lava landscape that is formed by a small amount of magma spilling out of small fissures. They usually form at the top of the lava tunnel, the inner walls of lava gas holes and driblet cones or the gaps between two lava flows (Fig. 15).
