External energy, such as solar radiation, gravity and lunisolar attraction, are external geological forces that play significant roles in shaping the topography of the Earth’s surface. These forces include weathering and erosion caused by water, currents, waves, groundwater movements, corrosion, glaciers and wind as well as the transportation and deposition of sediments. The vast majority of natural landscapes for tourism have been formed by the interactions between these internal and external geological forces.
