Jingtai Yellow River and Stone Forest National Geopark, Gansu

This park is located on the banks of the Yellow River in southeastern Jingtai County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province. It became a national geopark in 2004. Its main geological features include sandstone-conglomerate landforms (which belong to the forest landscape series) and extensive gravels of the Yellow River as well as the dynamic and static processes of the river. Other attractions include the Longwan Oasis, dam beaches, gobi and sand dunes.
